Kelley Lyons, originally from Colorado and trained as a Cordon Bleu chef, moved to Vermont in 1993. She began studying Bikram yoga in 1998 and loved the balance it brought to both her body and life. She trained with Bikram in the fall of 2000 and opened her studio in the spring of 2001. |

Marla Ceppetelli, a native Vermonter, came to Bikram suffering from PTSD. Fat and sad, Marla instantly felt the internal benefits and went to train with Bikram in the spring of 2002. She lost 4 dress sizes, stabilized emotionally, competed 4 times in the Regional Yoga Championships, but more importantly, practiced Bikram throughout her pregnancy until the day before she gave birth! |

Besty Baker, a native Vermonter and 3-time graduate of UVM, began her Bikram yoga practice on January 1, 2002. Being a runner at the time, she found the yoga practice more challenging than running marathons and allowed the yoga passion to gradually take over. Betsy trained with Bikram in 2004 and enjoys bringing the benefits of this yoga practice to the Burlington community. |

Mandy married the man who proposed to her during her teacher training in 2006, gave birth to her son Avery in 2007, and her husband opened Fridas restaurant in 2009. During all the excitement, stress and huge life changes there has been and always will be time and energy for teaching Bikram yoga. |

Becky Harvey started Bikram Yoga in November, 2003, and has since practiced every day possible. She fell in love with hot yoga, initially as a refuge from the cold Vermont winters, but ultimately because of its warm-hearted community. After graduating from the teacher training in Spring, 2009, Becky is thrilled to have the opportunity to share this yoga with others.! |

Jessica Kim, was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Dallas, TX. She took her first bikram yoga class on December 10, 2001 and was bedridden for the next 24 hours ... detoxing her life's accumulated vices. She returned the very next day for another class, and another, and another ... she was hooked. She moved to Vermont in 2004, wooed by the mountains, lake, and fresh air. Jessica became a certified Bikram yoga instructor in November, 2007. Jessica opened Yogarama Athletica, a Burlington Vermont clothing store in August 2009. |

Tracy Rubman, mother of 3 boys and a special educator, was diagnosed with Lupus at age 18. For the last three years, she has depended on Bikram yoga for relief from arthritic symptoms. After training with Bikram in spring 2005, she continues to appreciate the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits that practicing and teaching Bikram yoga has brought to her life. |

Sara Curry, Marla's sister, embraced Bikram yoga after a back injury forced her to cut back on running. She appreciated the hot yoga's ability to heal her injury-ridden body after years of abuse on the rugby field. Prior to teaching in spring 2003, she worked as a special educator with high risk youth. |

Stephanie Reese completed her teacher training in the spring of 2005. The mother of two, she loves the peace of mind that Bikram brings to her daily life. More importantly, she has learned to "love" her hamstrings! |

Adam Lowell Pearlstein, born and raised in Washington, DC. He began practicing bikram yoga in January, 2004 and trained with Bikram in the summer of 2004. He loves the new passionate relationship he now has with water and would not trade this yoga for anything in the world. Adam will be opening his own studio in Bethesda, MD in the fall 2010. |
